Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My deepest sympathies and condolences go to the family and friends of Margaret Bertha. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. When my mother died a few years ago I felt that my life had ended. I missed her so much and still do. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your loved one is up in heaven. What gave me comfort and hope is looking at the example of Jesus Christ when he was on earth. Seeing how much he cared for people then and now helped me to get through this difficult time. Yes, Jesus Christ promised that millions now dead will live again on this earth and have the prospect of remaining on it forever under peaceful, paradisaic conditions. (Revelation 21:3, 4) May the God of comfort be with you. Sincerely, Ms. Floyd

  2. We are so very sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine what you must be going through. I hope it helps to know that your mother was loved and thought a lot of by many people. I’ll always remember the “goodies” she made, and how much she loved her animals.

  3. SO SORRY TO LEARN OF THE LOSS OF YOUR MOTHER, OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO ALL THE FAMILY. TAKE CARE.

  4. To the family of Margaret Ann Bertha, My daughter groomed Daizy and Mrs. Bertha often talked of and was very proud of her family. Many times she would bring her dog and have stories about her family for us to attentively listen to. We’re sure she will be very sadly missed. Pet-Agree Grooming Amanda and Penny

  5. To Margaret’s son, John and daughters, Karen On behalf of myself and all the employees at The Ville Restaurant & Bar in Steubenville, we would like you to know how much we will miss your Mom, and how she affected all our lives, and also many customers that she talked to and gave her advice to. She was a tiny force in the world, and she really enjoyed her life, and loved her kids, which she always talked about, and her dogs. She gave us coupons, made us cookies, recipes, and lots of good advice, and was always interested in our lives and what we were doing. She was a great, great lady. We are all very sorry to hear of her leaving us, and are very sorry for your great loss. Sincerely, Vicki DeLeonardis, Owner, Manager, The Ville

  6. We were so sorry to hear of your loss. As Mrs. Bertha’s neighbors for nearly 10 years (and fellow dog lovers!),we will truly miss her. She was always kind to us, waiving as we walked down the street, bringing our dog special treats and keeping her eye out for us. If not for her, our house would have been wide open for a whole week while we were on vacation. We really appreciated her. We hope that fond memories will help you through your sorrow. Sincerely, Gail & Jim Paboucek
