Margarite Rose Paolo, 80, of Weirton, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born January 24, 1936 in Warwick, RI, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Confreda Parisi. She was also preceded in death by her husband Anthony Paolo on June 24, 2014, son Anthony Paolo, daughter Anne Paolo and a brother, Anthony Parisi. Margie was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and the St. Paul Christian Mothers. Margie is survived by her son Anthony (Nicole) Paolo of Powell, OH; daughter Anne (Howard III) Peterson of Weirton and grandchildren Joseph, John and Nicholas Paolo and Rachel and Howard (Howie) Peterson IV; brother in law, Frank Paolo of Burlington, IA and sister in law, Anna Confreda, of Coventry, RI Friends will be received Thursday 4-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10AM Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Larry Dorsch will officiate. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's School Capital Campaign Fund 140 Walnut Street Weirton, WV 26062 or Weirton Madonna High School, 150 Michael Way, Weirton, WV 26062.   2. Anthony, Ann and family we are heartbroken to lose Auntie Marge. How I will miss her phone calls checking in on everybody and telling me all about Gabriel’s and how to make grandma’s mini cheesecakes!! She always thought of us.   6. Although I haven’t seen cousin Margie often, she was close to my mother, “Aunt Angie” and called her faithfully every week.Margie was kind, caring and always upbeat. Our whole family is sad for your loss. Cousins Margarite Parisi Lovett, Nick Parisi, Anthony Parisi and Aunt Angie Parisi.
