Mark Anthony Oliver, 39, of Weirton passed away suddenly at Weirton Medical Center of natural causes. He was born September 5, 1972 in Steubenville, OH. Mark was an employee of Mountaineer Park, where he worked surveillance. He was the Vice President of the Weir High Band Boosters, and was a bowler for over twenty years at Steel Valley Lanes. He was preceded in death by his father in law, Jimmy Martin, Sr.; his grandfather, Anthony Oliver, his great grandparents, Charles and Cecilia Oliver, and Italia and Nick Beraducci, and his grandmother in law, Marion Lusakow. Mark is survived by his wife, Valerie (Martin) Oliver of Weirton; two daughters, Lindzie (Johnny) Stevens of New Cumberland, and Ashleigh Oliver at home; two granddaughters, Lilly and Bailey Stevens; parents, Pete and Cecilia Wounaris ; grandmother, Inez Oliver; aunt and uncle Chuck and Cindy Oliver; mother in law , Linda Martin; cousins, Casey Oliver and Carrie and Eddie Shultz; two brother in laws, Jimmy and Lori Martin all of Weirton and Brian and Jody Martin of New Manchester. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday, at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Interment will follow at Saint John's Cemetery, Follansbee.   9. To the best nephew an uncle can have, I was told you called me “your hero’, well, you were mine also. You could always be counted on to come to my aid; no matter what the situation. You always were, and always will be, more like a son to me than a nephew. My concern was always for your best interest. You will very deeply missed by me. There are “signs” of you all over our house.   16. loosing someone so young is so hard.I will remember Mark from the youth bowling league. How ever God does not put us on earth for ever. I guess he need Mark back for a reason.
