Mary J. Cuckovich

Mary J. Cuckovich, 93, of Weirton, passed away March 4, 2015 at the Steubenville Country Club Manor, Steubenville, OH. Born August 11, 1921 in Duquesne, PA, Mary was a daughter of the late George and Amelia Gorup Cuckovich. Mary was also preceded in death by her husband Pete Cuckovich and brothers, George and Sam Cuckovich.
Mary was a homemaker and a member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion and A.A.R.P.
Mary is survived by 2 nieces, 2 nephews and a host of friends.
In accordance to Mary's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Private burial will be handled by the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.
Memorial donations should be made to the Hancock County Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 508, New Manchester, WV 26056.
Mary was a lovely lady with a great sense of humor. She was also kind and big hearted. She was friends with my Aunt Pauline and would bring her little chubby dogs over to visit. May she be flying with the angels.
