Born in Steubenville on November 26, 1940, to Joseph and Antonina Napoli Muscara, Mary lived a life filled with faith, love, and dedication to her family.
Mary graduated from Weir High in 1958 and went on to become a faithful member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Her strong faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through all her endeavors.
Alongside her late husband, Ivan Carl, Mary co-owned and operated Gio’s Restaurant. The establishment was not just a business but a hub of social interaction that Mary cherished deeply. She enjoyed every moment spent engaging with customers and friends at Gio’s, where she made lasting memories.
Family was the most important aspect of Mary’s life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, always putting her loved ones first. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including her cherished teatime with her girlfriends. Mary was known for her impeccable taste and her dedication to maintaining a perfect, clean home.
