Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. To Dennis, Shirley, and Marlene: What precious memories we have of your Mother. We can’t begin to put in words the love and respect we have for her. She was a great wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. We spent many joyous moments at your parents home. They had hearts of gold. Your Mom always had a flower in hand when she came to visit. What joy there was when she got to talking about her love for gardening, cooking and you kids. I could write volumes, but you already know how wonderful she was. The world has lost a shining star. The heart is broken. But all of us are better people for having the honor of knowing and loving her. Rest in peace Aunt Mary . Love Johnny and Linda

  2. Dear Shirley, Marlene, and Dennis,

Words cannot express the love I have for Aunt Mary. As I shared with Shirley, Aunt Mary was very special. Whether I was 6 or 26, she always remembered by birthday, and that meant a lot to me over the years. When I think about your Mom, I think of homemade, delicious (and perfect) fudge & cookies at Christmas, beautiful flowers, and a love for square dancing. I will never forget how she helped me as a shy teen have fun learning to square dance. She was the best… A wonderful lady whom I am proud to call my Aunt. All my love and great big hugs sent to all of you during this difficult time. Heaven really did gain an Angel on Wednesday. You will be missed. ❤

    Love,

    Renita (Lamatrice) Douthit & family

  3. To the family of Mary Jones,

We are truly sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Our heartfelt condolences.

    Sincerely

    The Brosky Family

  4. My Mother and I are saddened to learn of Mary’s passing. She lovingly represents one of Weircrest Moms in the 1950s & 60s sharing recipes, perennial flowers, and raising model children who were our childhood playmates.

    All pleasant remembrances.

    Margaret Heaton & Julia Krutilla

  5. To the Jones Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I know that Mary will be greatly missed. I hope the words at Rev. 21:4, 5 prove to be of great comfort to you and your family.

    Sincerest love,

    Christianna
