Maryann Oklok, 87, of Weirton, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 in Serra Manor, Weirton. Maryann was born on July 23, 1927, in Adena, OH, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Seviola Wolicki. She was also preceded in death by her husband Mike Oklok on June 13, 1986, brothers, Stanley, John and Frank Wolicki ; and sisters, Sophie Sikora and Wanda Jackovich. With 25 years of service, Maryann retired from Thrift Drug Store. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Maryann truly enjoyed traveling to Florida and watching NASCAR with her husband. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers and deeply loved her grandchildren. Her family, especially her grandchildren, meant the world to her. She is survived by her son Mike S. and Olivia Oklok; daughters, Sandy Gevenosky, Kimmy and Chuck Gaudreau all of Weirton; grandchildren Brian (Melinda) Oklok, Jennifer Oklok, Jason (Holly) Gevenosky, Jessica (Josh) Bertovich, Chelsy (Jonathan) Gevas and Zak (Rayann) Gaudreau and great-grandchildren, Roman and Bella Gevenosky, Elle Gevas, Mason Bertovich , Aly and Grayton Oklok. Visitation will be held 4 - 8PM Sunday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be celebrated 11 AM Monday. Reverend George Gerbo will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Sheltered Workshop, 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue, Weirton, WV 26062.   1. Sending love and wishes for peace and comfort. I have many find memories of Cocia Mania. As a child I loved visiting her house and sitting at the kitchen table listening to her and her sisters laugh. Cocia Mania had the best laugh of all. I will always smile thinking of her.

  2. I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful, gentle, and kind soul. She was such a joy to work with at Thrift Drug’s and a wonderful friend. She will missed greatly. I was blessed by having the opportunity to know Maryann and I will see her again some day.

    She was she a wonderful neighbor to us we enjoyed many conversations and visits in the back yard. What a sweet and lovely woman she was. She will be missed by many. Our sympathy to your family.
