Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Duane will be missed at the Door of the Weirton Heights Church of Christ where he greeted everyone with a huge smile. He was always so happy helping put everyone he met in a great mood also. Duane was so happy the night he put his Lord on in Baptism and now he too can look forward to the reward the Lord has promised all those who do his will and remain faithful to him. Duane will be missed but, we look forward to seeing him in the Glory Land. May God Bless the Family and Friends of Duane as they reflect on the wonderful memories he left for all.

  2. My friend Duane, He is in the Kingdom of God now. Im sad but happy too. Every time we met we hugged and Duane said hi buce (not bruce). I loved his honesty and endless cherrfulness. We will always feel warm when we think of Duane Mitchell. Thankyou

  3. Duane will be missed by all residents and staff at the Overbrook Towers/Weirton HOusing Authority… He was a great helper and asset to me by all the help he gave me cleaning the office and especially opening the door in the morning. Kimberly Azzarello

  4. Duane was given an innocense from God that no one could take from him. It was that trait, that I enjoyed seeing every day at the Towers or where ever I would see him. He would never turn a chance down to help you, or anyone. You were my friend and I was your “buddy!” and always will be. You surely will be missed but, I know in my heart, that if I can make it to heaven, you will be at the door to help let me in!
