Nancy Lee Zak, 77, formerly of Weirton, West Virginia, passed away in Fairmont, WV on May 28, 2025.

Born on May 19, 1948, Nancy was one of two daughters born to the late Alex and Elizabeth J. (Potock) Zak.

She was a graduate of Weir High School and went on to earn her degree from West Virginia University in 1970. She embraced adventure and travel as a flight attendant with Capital International Airways.

Nancy lived a life marked by courage, resilience, and love. She faced her mental health challenges with quiet strength and found joy in simple pleasures—she loved walking, engaging with friends, and caring for her cherished pets.

She will be remembered with love by her sister, Janice Marie Price and her husband Gary of Sanford, Florida; nephews Jeff (Donna) and Jon; niece Julie; and two grandnephews, Jason and Zach.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, followed by a brief service led by Rev. Larry Barkley 1t 1:30 PM.

She will be laid to rest at Paris Cemetery, Paris, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to NAMI of Greater Wheeling, 1035 Chapline St., Wheeling, WV 26003.
