Paula Annette Billick, 77, of Weirton, WV, passed away on August 31, 2025.
Born September 9, 1947, she was the youngest of three daughters born to the late Paul and Mary Chorey Pachuta. Paula grew up in Weirton and graduated from Weir High School in 1965.
She married Thomas Eugene Billick on September 23, 1972. Together, they were blessed with a son, a daughter, and three grandchildren. Paula lovingly cared for Tom during a long illness until his passing in 2005.
Paula first worked as an administrative assistant at Weirton Steel. Years later, she worked as an assistant to Rev. Kevin Bowers at First Christian Church in Weirton. For the past 15+ years she has volunteered with the Weirton Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority for nearly 60 years. She greatly enjoyed her time with her sorority sisters and volunteering. Her favorite activities of all were watching her grandchildren grow up and attending their sporting events. Known for her spunky personality, she had a way of bringing joy and laughter wherever she went.
In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Tom. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Christopher (Katie) Billick; her daughter, Jennifer (Jamie France) Billick; her grandchildren, Jack, Sam, and Grace Billick; her sisters, Mary Lou (George) Batcho and Barbara Zimmerman; and her nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV.
A Liturgy of the Word Service will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Weirton Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary.

Our sorority will not be the same without Paula. I know we’ll find comfort in each other & we will get through this together. Paula’s shining personality will live on in our hearts.💕
Your mom will always hold a special place in our hearts.
She touched so many in our neighborhood and community with her warmth, laughter and friendship!
Our deepest sympathy,
Mary and Danny Flora and family
Paula was a bright light at weirton medical center she will be missed every day
I’m not sure where to start as there are so many funny stories that involve Aunt Paula. She would come to mom’s house when we were in town saying “I’m not staying late” It would be 11:00pm and we would still be sitting around the kitchen table laughing. Mom’s 89th birthday at Eat n Park asking the waitress to guess our ages (mom, dad, Barb, Paula and myself) and the patrons near us saying “We want to sit at your table” Christmas at mom’s playing left/right/center for money ( You are correct Paula.. Barb won)
I asked her recently what she did for exercise. She told me she liked to dance. She said she had 2 playlists that she would stream from her phone. Aunt Paula I am going to miss you dearly however I know the playlist is on and you are dancing in heaven.
Thank you for the memories. You were the best Aunt
Love Kathy
I cherish the years we had together.
What a blessing she had to have been for you all!
I was just a little boy but i remember in the 1960’s my Grandparent’s Good Friendship with their next door neighbor’s The Pachuta’s. They both had Huge Garden’s. I have such fond memories visiting My Grandparents and getting to know the Pachuta’s. Farmer was often outside in his Garden & Yard. Mary and her Perogi’s, Yum. Of Course i fondly remember the bright & happy little girl “ PAULA”. Precious People & Memories. God’s Peace, Love & Comfort to The Family & Friends. Stay Close to The Lord !
I will surely miss Paula. We would get to see each other a couple times a year when she would be volunteering at one of her fundraiser sales I would be at. She always had a way with words to make me laugh and we would always have good conversations over the couple days. She always brought me her great chocolate chip cookies to enjoy at the sale and they will be missed in the future, but most of all I will miss seeing her grin right before she had a comment that was sure to make me laugh. Paula was one of the good ones I will truly miss.
Chris and family,
So sorry for your loss. Your mother sounds like a amazing person.

We will miss the great stories about her kids/grandkids, whom she simply adored.
Sending love to her family.
