Pauline M. Korzi of Weirton passed away, with her family at her side, on Friday, January 8, 2021, at the Weirton Medical Center. She was 92. Pauline was born in Tire Hill, PA, on May 20, 1928. She was the tenth of eleven children born to John and Mary Hrivnak Seganos. On June 24, 1950, she married Steve J. Korzi. In their 60 years of marriage, they were blessed with five daughters, a son, and six grandchildren. Their family grew an additional four great-grandchildren. When her children were school age, Pauline went to work for Service Systems, where she managed the cafeteria at the General Offices of Weirton Steel. She nourished her faith at Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church. Her love for reading naturally had her join the Weirton Woman's Club, where she was active with the Literary Department. She enjoyed her time in Three Score Seniors, cooking, baking, and sewing for her family and friends, and watching her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. She cherished times spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Steve J. Korzi on November 3, 2010; her daughter, Barbara J. Korzi; her brothers, Mike, John, Pete, Andrew, and Joseph Seganos; and her sisters, Margaret Maggiolo, Ann Nimmo, Sue Porter Mary Koharchick, and Helen Borischak. Pauline will be remembered with love by her son, Steven G. (Joanne) Korzi; her daughters, Cathy (Paul) Barnabei; Debbie (Mick) Kemp, Dr. Carol (Dave Kukura) Korzi and Jennifer (David) Walter; her grandchildren, Jamie Barnabei, Chester (Alexis) Barnabei, Ryan (Kitty) Kemp, Daniel (Makayla) Kemp, Taylor, and Nathan Walter; two great-grandchildren, Chester John Barnabei, and Layla Kemp, and step-great-grandchildren, Steven and Abel Murdock. Friends and relatives will be received Sunday from 3-5 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 AM Monday at Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Entombment will be in Saint Paul Cemetery Mausoleum.
