He has laid down the working tools of the Craft and with them he has left that mortal part for which he no longer has use. His labors here below have taught him to divest his heart and conscience of the vices and superfluities of life. Strengthened in his labors here by faith in God, and confident of expectation of immortality, he has sought admission to the Celestial Lodge above.”

  18. Mary,
So sorry for the loss of your beloved husband.
Perry legacy has been carved on the hearts of others. The memories of him …shared by you, your children, grandchildren and the stories they tell will forever remain in the hearts and minds of all who knew him.
For in death, a man’s legacy is not leaving something behind for people , but leaving something behind IN people to remember him by… in remembrance.. may he Rest In Peace.

  19. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. So sorry for your loss. Perry and Mary were friends of ours and we had some good times years ago.

  20. Perry was a great guy. He and Mary took my exercise class until it was no longer possible, and everyone missed them when they had to quit attending. Perry was a class ahead of me, but he lived in my neighborhood and so I’ve know him for a long time and always thought he was a special person. He and Mary seemed to be the perfect couple, and so my heart goes out to Mary, who’s also a special person.

  21. To the Duckworth Family
My sincere condolences on Perry’s passing. I worked with Perry for several years prior to the change in the WSX ownership in 2004. It was a pleasure to work with him and his team.

  22. Mary,
My deepest condolences for your loss of a wonderful guy. I always enjoyed tremendously the conversations I had with Perry. Whether it was at McDonalds, Tudors, at Edmund’s Steeltown Autos, every conversation was interesting, enlightening, fun, and even educational especially when we focused on cars, family, and life in general. I’m going to miss those moments, but at I’ll always have the memories. Unfortunately., I won’t be able to pay my respects because I have a case of the flu. Yet, I wanted you to know how much I admired him. You and Perry are in my thoughts and prayers.

  23. It was always a joy to meet with Perry in his office at Weirton Steel to discuss what our company could provide to solve an issue for the mill. I could see his love of family and his enjoyment with racing cars on the walls of his office.
It was my pleasure to know him and all that worked for him.

My thoughts and prayers for his family and friends at this time.
