Robert Charles “Bobby” Valenti, Jr., 62, passed away on January 17, 2020, at the Trinity Medical Center, in Steubenville, OH. Born on December 1, 1957, in Weirton, WV, Bobby was the son of Carol Cipriani Valenti of Weirton, WV, and the late Robert Charles Valenti, Sr. who preceded him in death on May 6, 2004. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Carlo Valenti, Costantino and Marie (Boniti) DeCollo, and Mariano and Angela Cipriani. Bobby graduated from Weirton Madonna High School, and West Liberty State College. He worked as a reservationist for US Air for ten years, prior to managing Avis Rent a Car for an additional 10 years. He was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, and the BPOE Lodge 1801. Bobby enjoyed attending sporting events, especially watching his children play football, track, basketball, and soccer. He enjoyed playing Euchre with his friends, and will always be remembered as an avid story teller. In addition to his mother, Bobby is survived by his wife of 33 years, Karan Baier Valenti, his sons, Matthew Valenti of New Manchester, and Robert Charles “ Robby” Valenti, III; his daughter, Kayla Valenti; his sister, Deborah (Charles) Garrison; his best friend, Joey Veltri all of Weirton, and many nieces and nephews.. Visitation will be Sunday 4-8 PM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Monday at the Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Very Rev. Fr. Dennis R. Schuelkens, Jr. will preside.
