I’m sure he was very proud of the coach and adult that you became. My thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

  7. Terry……Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family in the loss of your Dad Geary Gruber and Family

  8. Dear Terry and family, My deepest sympathy on the passing of your father, Jerry. He was an amazing individual, and no history of Wheeling Island would be complete without a chapter on the contributions that he made as a baseball coach, to his many players, and the young lives he helped mold and influence. He was an amazing athlete in his own right, and as a boy, I recall his towering home runs in the softball leagues in which he played. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. May God bless and strengthen you at this most difficult time.

  9. I am so sorry to hear my friend and co worker has passed. I loved Jerry, he was a true friend. I will always have wonderful memories working with him and his support during tough times. He was the best friend a person could have. His sense of humor was the best. I am so sad.
