Stella M. Thomas

Stella M. Thomas, 64, of Weirton died Saturday October 13, 2007 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born on March 27, 1943 in Middlebourne, WV, the daughter of the late Pete and Edna Sellers Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester E. Thomas, Jr. on March 10, 1996. Stella was a homemaker where her favorite pastimes where reading and listening to country music. She is survived by her significant other, James Anderson with whom she resided; her two sons, Mark Thomas of Follansbee, WV and Michael Thomas of Wellsville, OH; her two daughters, Pamela Knirsch of New Cumberland, WV and Virginia Thomas of Weirton, WV; her two brothers, Eli (Bud) Bailey of Friendly, WV and Walter Bailey of Weirton, WV; her three sisters, Edna Leasure of Weirton, WV, Hazel McHale of West Palm Beach, FL, and Mary Riggs of Middlebourne, WV; her six grandchildren Chrystal Duke, Justin Hartley, Heather Stevens, Samantha, Melanie and Rebecca Thomas. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Greco- Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday. Reverend Darrell Cashdollar will preside. Interment will be in Three Springs Cemetery, Weirton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of WV, P.O.
