Susan K. Phillips, 66, was on vacation when her Lord and Savior called her home on September 9, 2017. She was the daughter of Doris J. Sadler and the late Henry H. Cooper. The joys of Susans’ life were her children Eric J. Moore (Stephanie L. Walker), Jamie S. Moore (Scott Skinner) and for a blessed moment twins Charlie and Alisha Moore. Also, her six grandchildren Kirsten (Adam) Sutherin, Cody Moore, Chaz McDonald, Cory Moore, Kyle Moore and Kalie Moore and three great-grandchildren. Susan is also survived by sister Sharon (Ray) Neeley, step-sister Jackie (Dave) Pulver and step-brother Richard Smith. Susan was also preceded in death by her step-father Paul Sadler, first husband James Guy Moore, second husband Ray Phillips and step-brothers Robert Smith and Paul Sadler Jr. Susan was a member of the First United Methodist Church, TOPS and Eastern Star. Susan also was an organ donor. Friends will be received on Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, where services will be held on Monday at 11AM. Pastor Carol McKay will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee.

  1. Susan was a very sweet Person, She would be there for anyone when she could . She never asked for anything in return but ur Respect. She was always there for me even when I never asked for it she always insisted on helping. That was just her Nature. She loved to be there for her family an friends. I have the pleasure to get to know Susan through her Daughter Jamie . Time frame of some years. I haven’t seen or talked to her in a while but I always thought abt her an doris.. she was like a Mother to me an I loved her also.. Rest in Paradise. Your free with the Stars an heavenly Angels..   2. Sue has been like a second mother to me for close to 15 years. She was and will always be an amazing, caring, and kind hearted person. She loved her family and friends more than anything in the world and would do anything for anyone. Her daughter Jamie has been my best friend for many years which is how I have the pleasure of being able to say I knew her. She will be dearly missed by so many people. She defiantly left a mark on this world that no one will ever be able to forget. I love you and will miss you forever mom. R.I.P

  3. I will always remember Sue as such a caring and beautiful lady. We graduated together in high school. She will be deeply miss. My prayers are with the entire family.
