  9. Nunu and all our aunts and uncles, We will miss Uncle Boomer. He taught us to love the Steelers. He even taught us about deer meat, which we didn’t love so much. We will always remember how he shared his special Steeler’s jester hat with us and gave Kevin his tickets to a Steeler vs. Ravens game. We are sorry that we can’t attend his funeral. We love you all. Colleen and Kevin

  10. My memory of Boomer will always be a laugh and a great song. Give Mr. Rooney a little help with our Steelers. I will miss you,Boomer.

  11. Dear Uncle Bill and Family, Please know we share in your grief. Boomer’s sweet, kind soul will be profoundly missed by many. As a young girl, I fondly remember Boomer belting out “Country Roads, Take Me Home” with his beloved brothers and friends. And as a young woman, he showed me the beauty of Louis Armstrong’s song, “Oh What a Wonderful World”. Unlike many, he thoroughly enjoyed life and to me the world is a more wonderful place for having known him. I know his country road will safely take him home. Linda Beadling Spillmann Munich, Germany

  12. Billy & Family: We were deeply saddened to hear of Boomer’s passing. Tom “Boomer”, we will always remember the amusing and humorous things you did at Madonna (biting a football player opponent). You will be sadly missed by your classmates. We will be thinking of the fun memories of you on your birthday as Donna shares the same date (5/17/63). I pray that you recieve strength and understanding to get you through this difficult time.
