William E. Mitchell
September 25, 1947 ~ November 23, 2005
William E. “Bill” Mitchell, 58, of Weirton, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at his home. Born September 25, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son William W. Mitchell of Weirton and the late Dorothy M. Dembeck Mitchell. Bill was also preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Ann Mitchell.
With 28 years of service, Bill retired from Weirton Steel where he worked in Quality Control for the Hot Mill. He attended St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
In addition to his father, Bill is survived by his sons William Walter Mitchell of Nitro, WV and Andrew E. Mitchell of Charleston, WV and sister Elaine Himmelrick and her husband Gerald of Weirton.
There will be no visitation. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Monday, November 28 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church with the Reverend Father Larry Dorsch presiding. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.

TO THE MITCHELL FAMILY: THOUGH I HAVE NOT SEEN BILL FOR YEARS. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM AS A NICE PERSON. WE COMPETED AGANIST EACH OTHER IN LITTE LEAGUE BASEBALL AND ATTENDED MADONNA HIGH SCHOOL TOGETHER. STILL RECALL HIS LONG RUN TO BEAT ST.ANTHONY’S IN FOOTBALL. VERY SAD TO READ ABOUT HIS PASSING.
