He always seemed happy and could put a smile on my face very easily. He will be missed greatly be myself and many others.

  8. Connie, Chip and Adam, Although I didn’t know Aaron very well, his name was mentioned almost daily in my home. It is a cute story! Something about Aaron struck my 7-year-old daughter Emily. She met Aaron about 3 years ago at her cousin Jared’s birthday party. He only spoke a few words to her on his way out the door. To her, that was enough. Since that time, all she has talked about was Aaron Davies! She wrote his name on countless pieces of paper. I even think she learned how to spell his name before any other (except her own). He was quite special to her and all who knew him. He will be sadly missed! You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

  30. Dear Davies family, My deepest sympathies are with you at this tragic time. I had the privilege of getting to know Aaron from coaching summer league basketball. I will always remember him as being a happy young man, always smiling and laughing. He was an exceptional athlete, usually the youngest one always taking on the older kids, and he still excelled. His delightful personality was contagious to his friends and everybody around him. He displayed an incredible amount of courage during his battle with this horrible disease, and serves as an inspiration to us all. God bless.

  31. Chippie, Connie, & Adam, I am so sorry. When I think of Aaron I always think of him when he was little. He would come to our basketball practices when Chip was our coach at the community center & always wanted to play. You will all be in my thoughts & prayers.

  32. We will all remember Aaron for his warm, big smile, We just wish we could understand Why he couldn’t stay for awhile~ The battle was long & hard We all prayed he’d be alright, We are blessed to have known Aaron A courageous young man with such a strong fight~ We now try to find a reason We are asking ourselves why, No one wanted to let him go It’s just too hard to say good-bye~ Many tears have been shed Many hearts now ache, It’s hard for us to understand Why God chose him to take~ Someone said it best Just the other day “Won’t Aaron make the cutest angel when he gets his wings today”

  33. Chip, Connie and Adam, We are so sorry for your loss. We did not personally know Aaron, but he must have ben an “incredible” person and Very Much LOVED by the “Weirton Family” God Bless All of You!

  38. Dear Davies family, It was a privelidge to know Aaron. My sons Ian and Nathan are very fortunate to have played baseball with him. The lessons they learned from him on the field diminish to dark in the light of the courage they have learned from him, and the way he battled life. God bless you and comfort you with his peace and love always.

  39. I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I’m Bob Ferraro’s neice and even though I personally didn’t know Aaron, I heard so much about him. Aaron was put on a prayer list and was prayed for often by my mother, some of our friends and me. Knowing how your heart must be breaking now even though we all know Aaron is in a much better place, I found a poem that I’m hoping will at least be some comfort to you. HE IS THERE When you call to God, in prayer, He is where you choose to be- Be you in a rocking chair Or upon a raging sea- And He’s always there, with Grace, To endear you in embrace And make calm the dreads and fears That engulf your life in tears. He is there – for you For your trust and faith in prayer – Does not matter when you call Or your place from anywhere; By the light of night or day, He is Shepherd to your way And your Guardian of care When you call to Him, in prayer. ….they shall call on My name and I will hear them…. Zech. 13:9

  40. The Davies family, I did not know Aaron very well, but from what I have heard of him, he was an extremely nice and intelligent boy. He was good with kids, and he was kind to me, even though he only said a few words to me. I know that he was brought up well. I kept Aaron in my prayers, and I was heartbroken when I heard the news. You are in my thoughts and in my prayers, and I hope things get better. Just remember, Aaron is in a way better place, and he is not suffering anymore. I have watced him play at all levels, then middle school, and on to the high school. My grandson played with him. 91. My older son is in college, like Adam. My younger son is in middle school and plays many sports but especially loves basketball, like Aaron. I can only imagine how sad you must be. When my young niece passed away I couldn’t understand why God let this happen. Father Tom at St. Paul’s reminded me of the scripture, “Your ways are not my ways and your thoughts are not my thoughts.” I also found comfort from this poem that I would say in my head to help me have faith. I hope it will comfort you also. God Bless. TRUST HIM WHEN DARK DOUBTS ASAIL THEE, TRUST HIM WHEN THY STRENGTH IS SMALL, TRUST HIM WHEN TO SIMPLY TRUST HIM SEEMS THE HARDEST THING OF ALL.

  92. BLESSED TO HAVE PARENTS LIKE YOU You’ve been my strength in my darkest hour. When my body was aching with pain. you comforted me with words of love until Jesus had whispered my name. You’ve let me live my life as I pleased. You lectured, but did not judge. You gave me the things you knew I would need, like family, and friendship, and love. I know that you’ll miss me. I’ll miss you too, but heavens not that far away. And just as God promised when his work is done he’ll bring us together to stay. I’ve walked my last mile and cried my last tears. Please know that my soul is now free. I’ve taken my place with God by his side. I’m happier that I dreamed I could be. Rosalind Smith

  93. To the Davies Family, When both of our families moved next door to each other back in 1990, I became very close with both of your sons. The three of us were always having fun and getting into as much trouble as three young boys could find. Ever since my family moved out of the neighborhood, I have always kept all of you in my thoughts. Even the past 3 years of living in Florida, the thought of my great neighbors has been in my head. After my mother told me about Aaron’s passing, all I could think about is the great times that we shared and how Aaron is finally at home with God. You will always be in my thoughts.

  94. Dear Chip and Connie, I want to let you know how saddened Carl and I are about Aaron. Your family has been in our thoughts and prayers over the past few years. I feel priviledged to have been one of Aaron’s 5th grade teachers at Weirton Heights Elementary School. Our daughter is a 5th grader this year and she asked me what Aaron looked like and what kind of person he was… I told her that I will remember him as being a artist, athletic, intelligent, handsome and yet quiet and reserved…the kind of person you would pick as a friend. I also remember what wonderful parents he had and how proud they were of him. Aaron would often come to my room at lunch time and draw pictures for me to use on bulletin boards. He is a student I will always remember. Most sincerely, Jackie and Carl Fodor

  95. Dear Davies Family, Although I never got the pleasure of knowing Aaron personally, I have heard many wonderful stories about him from my cousin,Jessica, and many others. He had an extraordinary talent for basketball, and his smile effected all that was near. His determination and courage over the past three years will never be forgotten and will always be admired. He has touched everyones lives in one way or another and will be truly missed. Jessica had told me a story, that during one of her visits to see him in the past couple weeks he had grabbed her hand, and said “See You Later”. This is just a reminder to all of us that this is not a goodbye, just a “See You Later”. Your in my thoughts and prayers, Brandy Hukill

  96. Dearest Chip and Connie; I am so very sorry for the loss of your son. Though I never knew him, I have heard that he was a remarkable young man who had a powerful impact on every life he touched. He will not be forgotten. You both have been such wonderful parents and examples to the community in the face of suffering. May God’s peace rest on you. Jodi Kraina

  97. Dear Davies Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I really wish I could be there but unfortunatley I am at school. I remember everytime I saw Aaron he was was flashing his beautiful, gleaming smile. Even when he was going through something I couldn’t even imagine how diffucult, I never saw him look unhappy. He seemed so determined to live his life to the fullest and not let anything stop him. When things in my life weren’t going good, I would think of him and it made me realize how small my problems were. He was so strong and brave and I will forever admire him for that. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and remember that he will always be with you and will be your guardian angel. Tara Blakemore

  98. When we found out Aaron had cancer 3 years ago, we knew in our hearts that he would find a way to beat it. That’s just the way he was. We know he had times when he was doing well, and times when things were just not good. All along, Aaron kept LIVING. He gave the kids hope that he was going to be okay. Always smiling, joking, never complaining. He fought until he could not fight anymore. He has taught us all a lesson… Be thankful for every day, be thankful for your health, family, and friends….Connie, Chip & Adam, we are so sorry. You will be in our prayers forever. Love, Kenny,Michele, Kasey,, Garrett, & Kelly

  100. Chip, Concetta, and Adam, What can I say? David, Paige, Maddie, and myself are going to miss Aaron Davies so much. David and I will miss all the times Aaron came over and watched football with us or Basketball or just to hang out. Maddie will miss Aaron always teasing her and messing with her, she will also miss making Aaron her great drawings she loved him like a big brother. Paige will miss him shooting basketball with her and talking to her,and just them hanging out with the dogs.I will miss all the times Aaron and I talked for hours in the driveway, and taking Sadie and Tyson to dog school, and messing with him about liking the Steelers not the Eagles. Plus just being next door and coming over and his loud music playing up stairs and him hanging out the window jamming to it with the big smile on his face. So many memories such great neighbors.. Aaron will always and forever be in our hearts and we will never forget the joy he brought to our lives. We love you guys like family and will take care of Tyson and Henry just like Aaron would have wanted…We will get through this difficult time, and know that Aaron doesn’t have to suffer anymore. He is truely our Angel! We love you guys. Your neighbors! The Dalrymples!

  101. I only had got to talked to Aaron a couple of times but, I knew how special he was. Everytime I talked to my sister MaryAnn all she ever says was how he cute he was and had he had these beautiful eyelashes.Everyone I’m sure has a special memory of him and I hope everyone shares them with you.I just want you to remember what I told you at the funernal home, every star that shines down on you is Aaron looking down smiling because he had the best parents in the world. All my love, Janet Rowland

  102. I did not know Aaron personally, but knew of him when I went to Weir Middle with him. I always heard everyone speak very highly of him, and I will be praying for him and his family in this sad time. God bless.

  103. Even though I did not know Aaron I heard many wonderful stories about him.I know what it feels like to lose someone close to you.You are in my thoughts and prayers. Megan

  104. Mr. & Mrs. Davies and Adam, May the Lord Bless all of you! Aaron was a good kid,the type you want your to be your friend. Well I was lucky enough to have the chance to play baseball against your son,Aaron, down at the creek…..and every time we played his team i was so scared to bat against him because he pitched so fast! But it was a great privlege to know and play with your son. He is in a better place where he doesnt have to suffer any more; but while he was blessing us with his pressence he was a fighter and a srtong person. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU!! “God broke our hearts to prove to us, He ONLY takes the BEST.” We All Will Miss Him, and i wish the best to your family. -Michael Salko

  105. Chip so sorry to hear of the loss of your son. I can’t immagine the pain you and your wife are suffering.I imagine you dad and stepmother are hurt as well. Jane and I have you all in our prayers. May God bless and keep all of you in his loving care.

  106. Being a nurse at Children’s Hospital, I’ve had the fortunate pleasure of knowing Aaron and the unfortunate experience of seeing him suffer. What an exceptional young man!! No matter how much pain he was in or how uncomfortable he may have been, he always had a smile to light up a room, always a polite answer. A joke would always bring that beautiful smile, no matter how much I’m sure he didn’t feel like sharing it. Aaron suffered and now no longer has to, but I’m sure that doesn’t always make the road ahead seem any brighter. Please know we’re all thinking of him and missing him very much. Please take care, you’re all in our thoughts and prayers. One of the lucky nurses at CHP who helped to make Aaron a little more comfortalbe

  107. Dear Davies family, I’m very sorry to hear about your loss of Aaron. I haven’t seen him lately, but I can remember the times of when we were younger and there was a big group of us that would always go down to Myrtle Beach in the summer. Or when my dad would take Sara and I to one of Aaron’s basketball or baseball games. I’m sorry Sara and I couldn’t make it to the memory services this week, but we had school and weren’t able to come. Just remember that Aaron is in a better place with God and is no longer suffering. You are in my family’s prayers. Rachael Hissom

  108. Dear Davies Family, I go to Weir Middle School and even though I did not know Aaron I still felt really bad about it. There’s not much that I can really say since I did not know him but I thought that I could still come and pay my respects.

  109. Dear Connie, Chip & Adam, We are so sorry for your loss. Someone sent this to me when my father passed away and I hope it can bring you some comfort. May God Bless. Linda, Marc, Stephanie and Marc DeAngelo WHEN TOMORROW STARTS WITHOUT ME When tomorrow starts without me, and I’m not there to see; If the sun should rise and find your eyes, all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn’t cry, the way you did today, while thinking of the many things, we didn’t get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each time that you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too; But when tomorrow starts whithout me, please try to understand, that an Angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand, and said my place was ready, in heaven far above, and that I’d have to leave behind, all those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye, for all my life, I’d always thought, I didn’t want to die. I had so much to live for, so much yet to do, it seened almost impossible, that I was leaving you. I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad, I thought of all the love we shared, and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, just even for awhile, I’d say goodbye and kiss you and maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized, that this could never be, for emptiness and memories, would take the place of me. And then I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow, I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow. But when I walked through heaven’s gates, I felt so much at home. When God looked down and smiled at me, from His great golden throne, He said, “This is eternity, and all I’ve promised you.” “Today for life on earth is past, but here it starts anew. I promised no tomorrow, but today will always last, and since each day’s the same day, there’s no longing for the past.” “But you have been so faithful, so trusting and so true. Though there were times you did some things, you knew you shouldn’t do. But you have been forgiven and now at last you’re free. So won’t you take my hand and share my life with me?” So when tomorrow start without me, don’t think we’re far apart, for every time you think of me, I’m right here, in your HEART.

  110. Dear the Davies family, I’m very sorry about your loss. Although I didn’t know Aaron too well, I knew him through my friends, and I was able to spend some time with him. He was always high-spirited and kind. God now has the best angel he could ask for,and I know he’s shinning and smiling down on us from above watching us each day.

  111. Chip, Connie, and Adam, I am so very sorry about your loss. Aaron was a wonderful person and he will be greatly missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him. He seemed to always be smiling and so happy everytime I saw him. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

  112. Dear Aaron’s Family, I knew your son when I was a little younger than I am now.We havent talked for a while but I sincerely thought about him.He always built up my hopes and dreams and never to get down on myself and that is what I come to tell you now.Your son is in a better place now and he’ll always be looking down on his family and friends. He is done suffering and never has to go through the pain ever again… GOD TAKES THE BEST OF US! With a lot of hope and prayers to your whole family.Just to remember always when you are alone, you aren’t really because you have Aaron right with you all the way.

  113. Dear Chip, Connie and Adam: I firmly believe Aaron is in heaven and God is taking care of him. I will always remember his effortless jumpshot. When I teach kids how to shoot at practice I will tell them you have to shoot the ball high and soft. You should strive to have a smooth jumpshot—like Aaron Davies. In my mind he would of been a member of the 1000 point club without a doubt. Sincerely, Jim Horstman and Family

  114. I didn’t really know Aaron but i had a class with him this year he was a sophmore and i’m a freshman he used to play baseball with my cousin David….He was so nice…RIP

  115. To my Sweet Aaron, It has been one year today since you have left us. You are so truly missed, but I thank God that you are no longer suffering and you are an angel up in heaven. You know that you will always hold a special place in my heart. I loved you like you were my own and I thank you for that. You truly were a remarkable young man!! I think of you every day and all of the happiness that you brought to my family and to others. Aaron, your are the epitome of greatness. No matter what you attempted or had thrown at you, you gave it your best, even your illness. You taught me soooo much!! Thank you for being such a good friend to Jordan. You will forever be in his heart. He cherishes your friendship and misses you so much! Please Rest in Peace Aaron, until we meet again…… I love you always, Kris

  117. Dear Connie, Chip and Adam, May God bless you and keep you forever! I don’t know if you all will remember me or not, but I used to babysit Adam when he was very little. This was about 21 years ago! To this day Land Before Time is still one of my very favorite movies thanks to Adam. I have a 4 year old daughter and 20 month old son and we love to watch Little Foot together all the time. Every time I place that DVD in our player, I see Adam’s little face light up! I think of you all often and was devastated when I heard of your loss. If you all get this and still check Aaron’s guestbook, I would love to hear from you! May love and peace lift you up! Lots of Love to you all!

  118. This is long over due but Aaron was a great kid. Even if we didn’t see eye to eye and even if we did argue with each other. He was still my classmate and he’s very much missed. When I hear the name Aaron I always think that’s his way of still bugging me. He never seemed to have a pencil ( I think he just liked using mine) and he always wanted to copy my notes. RIP Aaron, one day I’ll see you again and I’ll have an extra pencil waiting for ya.
