carl lawver
Carl E. Lawver, 77, of Colliers, passed away on May 5, 2015 at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born June 3, 1937 in Briar Hill, PA, the son of the late Amnie Eugene and Cora Caroline (Stillwagon) Lawver. He was also preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. Carl's passion in life was being a truck driver. He worked for Wilson Freight and Preston trucking companies and retired from Weir-Cove in 2001. Carl is survived by his beloved wife Wilma (Kimball) Lawver of Colliers, son Steven (Cindy) Lawver of Mingo Junction, OH, daughter Kimberly (Meir) Dadoush of Colliers, grandchildren Stephanie (Chuck) Owens, Mara Lawver, Braylynn Clark, Jessica (Nathan) Riggs, Alyssa (Cody) Chapman, Sierra Sesto, Taylor Sesto and Michael Dadoush, great-grandchildren Shawn Stevens, Brennen Riggs, Ella Chapman, Elizabeth May, Emily Baker, Reese Owens and Brandon Owens, brother Alonzo "Lonnie" (Gracie) Lawver of Brownsville, PA, sisters Thelma ( Julian) Atkins of Florence, KY and Aseanieth Rose of Brownsville, PA as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. and on Friday from 12 noon until the time of Funeral Services at 1:00 P.M., with the Reverend Dana Snodgrass officiating, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.
