Catherine Jane Sarap of Follansbee, a loving wife and devoted mother passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at her daughter’s residence. She was 91 years old.
She was born in Steubenville on April 7, 1932, to Mele and Sophie Barich Ralich.
Catherine graduated from Steubenville Big Red High School in 1950. Her daughter Cynthia describes her as a kind, compassionate woman who loved her family and enjoyed listening to folk music.
In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Mitchell Sarap, and son Tommy Sarap.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Cynthia Richards.
Catherine’s request for cremation has been honored. There are no services planned at this time.
